Our Story

Elizabeth and Matthew met in a modern way online on June 4, 2023. Their first date evolved from a simple brunch to a full day across Dallas where dreams, desires, and values were warmly exchanged. When Elizabeth told Matthew she had an extended trip soon, he resolved to spend every moment he could with her.

Memories from that summer include meeting family, friends, and establishing a spiritual connection. Paddle boarding, surfing, mahjong, cooking, painting, and traveling are some of the adventures that brought the couple closer together.

The marriage proposal took place at the Imperial Palace of Innsbruck, Austria in a room known as the Giant Hall. An undercover photographer paired with an official permit paved the way for Matthew to ask for Elizabeth’s hand in marriage, to which she said yes!

The couple is excited to continue their story celebrating with friends and family in December!
